Your work

R runs in your browser. The site does not upload your code, answers, or results. Code drafts stay in memory during your visit; reloading or closing the page clears them. There are no accounts or saved answer histories.

External services

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and requested URLs for delivery and security.

Opening a coding exercise automatically downloads webR in the background, before you press Run. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts , and some course documents load MathJax. These requests share technical information, including your IP address, with those providers. Code you run can also make its own network requests.

The workshop sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers. Cloudflare may use security cookies . Closing the page does not erase providers’ request logs.
